Out of five Departments of DIET, Teacher Professional Development is one of the active and ongoing department under which so many programmes are going on for professional development and capacity building of teachers. Some of the activities under this dept. are as follows:

• Workshop on capacity building of CRCCs on FLN took place in two phases. Workshop on development of TLM on FLN was organized where teachers from 8 blocks participated.
• Five days training program on ICT was held in DIET to enhance basic skills in ICT of BEOs, ABEOS & CRCCs.
• Four days training program of DRG members and CRCCs on use of FLN materials.
• Two days workshop on “Development of question
• Three days orientation program on collaborative search was held where 5 teachers from each block of Dhenkanal district was participated.
• Dissemination of NAS Report Card 2021 was held where ADEO, BEOS, ABEOs pedagogy coordinator & all intervention heads participated & planned for their block for improvement on NAS 2024.
