District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) , Dhenkanal is established in 1988 as per the provision of National policy of Education 1986.Formerly it was known as Secondary Training School. DIET started its journey with the objective of qualitative improvement of elementary education through innovative pre- service and inservice teacher education programs and relevant research , material development and innovative activities.
